The visit guided offer the occasion to view the L'ETNO. Valencian museum of Ethnology with the explanations that carries out the technical personnel of the Museum. These visits are directed at schools and institutes as well as at associations and communities.
The permanent exposure of the museum takes for title "is not easy Valencian being", at which accosts of the identity of the Valencians, like a concept opened at constant evolution and subject at contradictions, at tensions and at lack of unanimity. While there is who the views like a positive fact, has to others that the detest; while some defend only his, with postulates that exclude, of others prefer the multiculturalism.
How it occurs at all the cultures, the Valencians confront at an indefinite future of his identity, at permanent debate among an increasingly homogeneous world culturally and the wish to maintain habits and practices that consider own, that root the ones at a territory and at a society.
The visit treats of these questions framed at the Valencian society, since the end in the world preindustrial until our days. The exposure has organised at three fields and at each one of them accosts a distinct motif: the city, where pose questions that have at viewing with the tension among global and local; the irrigated farmland and the marshlands, where talks of some stereotypes around the Valencian culture; and the dryland and the mountain, where references at motifs little known of the earths of the Valencian interior.
Also it can complete the route with visits commented at the temporal exposures that the museum offers at each moment.
